The 2026 NFL Draft has finally arrived, tonight we will have some of the answers to how the NFL views this class. This mock is going to be based on what I would do if I was the GM for all 32 teams. You will see some trades happen down below, I'll admit I didn't go through the exact scenarios to decide what picks will be changed but I made sure that it was possible for a trade to be worked out before doing the trade. If you want to see me guess the picks head over to my YouTube and look at my Mock draft video.
We all know this is going to happen, I think he is a good prospect who is worthy of going this high despite me having him graded towards the bottom of Round 1 due to the QB tax.
I stilll haven't finished my final eval on him but he was my highest rated EDGE player after the season and the Jets should absolutely take him here.
The Chiefs trade up and hold on to #29 in this scenario because the Cards will be motivated to move back to get better value for the tackles. I am not quite as high on Bailey with my end of season grade but the hype is real and I believe that he is a good compliment for the Chiefs pass rushers.
I think Robert Salah will look to get his guy to wear the green dot in the middle of his defense. I haven't finished my re-watch on him yet but my in season grades say he is worthy of going here.
Downs is one of the best players in this class and he has a real shot at being my #1 overall prospect, though HB Jeremiyah Love will be tough to top.
He is a raw prospect and I don't think the Browns care if they win this season so for them I would be willing to bet on the upside and let him develop year one.
Love is currently my #1 overall prospect on my big board and I feel that the value is just to high to pass up.
Bain may not fit the exact mold of a Micky Loomis edge rusher but I think he would be dominate player opposite Chase Young and I think he would fit DC Brandon Staley's defense well. If he had longer arms I have no doubt that Bain would be in competition for the top player in this class, the problem is he had an inconsistent middle of the season that dragged down his grade and I have not done my final re-watch yet for him.
The Cards trade down and still get one of the top tackles in this class and the player I may have taken at #3 for them.
The Giants move back and get even more draft value while the Jets would be willing to move up to get an impact receiver and Lemon is my #1 WR in this class.
Carnell Tate is my #3 receiver in this class but the Dolphins need someone to play on the outside and try and lead the room. It's not Tyson here because they need someone who will be available to play which is always a concern with Tyson.
Thge Cowboys grab the top healthy CB on my board and even though I love McCoy he is a major question mark healthwise.
I view Fano's best fit in the NFL being on the interior instead of at tackle, I think the Rams could play him or Avila at center.
This pick is chalk but the Ravens need Guard and Ioane is the best one available.
This pick will not be popular and I know that especially with Tyson still being on the board but I just don't see the Bucs being willing to take a swing on another injured reciever after the dealing with injuries at the position the last few years. I see Boston as the replacement to the role Mike Evans filled for the last decade and I know I'm higher on him than most but I think he would be the best option available based upon how the board fell.
The Giants trade back and get the guy they wanted all along, I think it's just easier to take the risk on him with the extra draft capital.
The Lions need to come out of this draft with a tackle for the future. I think they can flip Sewell over to the left side but personally I still like the upside of Proctor and I like that you won't have to swap Sewell to the left side. In my opinion he fills a big need and with him you won't have the uncertainty of a position change for Sewell. Proctor to me based on my early grades was a true boom bust prospect so this is the range I would feel comfortable taking the shot on him.
Saftey may be the biggest need for the Vikings but with me not having final grades on the Safties I have to trust my in season reports which say Sadiq is the better prospect. I also think the Hockenson hasn't been the same since his knee injury and Sadiq would be another great addition to the offense.
Panthers still need safety help and this is good value here for my #2 safety in the class.
I still haven't completed my re-watch of Parker but due to age I still have him over Mesidor at this moment and the Cowboys need edge help.
Cooper Jr is the best receiver available for me here right now and I think that he fits into a role that the Steelers need in the room.
The Chargers need some help on the edge for the future and Mesidor can contribute right away and be ready to take over a starting role next year.
The Eagles need to plan for their future after Lane Johnson and I think Blake Miller would be a great tackle to pick who has a ton of college experience. I could see them swinging for more upside but since Jeff Stoutland left this off-season I feel less confident in their ability to develop the raw guys so Miller is the safer option who is still a good solid tackle prospect and when Johnson likely misses time this season you can plug Miller into the lineup and feel good about it.
Concepcion can step in and be a threat on the inside or outside for the Browns and I think this is good value for him right now.
Bears are disappointed that an edge didn't make it to them but they need help at saftey and although my grade in-season was lower on him I'm betting that I will have a better grade on him in the re-watches after the draft.
The Bills wanted a receiver to make it to them but one didn't so they pivot and look to build the middle of the defense for the future.
Lomu has more of a second round grade for me but I just feel the niners feel the pressure to start being prepared even though they re-signed Trent Williams.
Woods like every other Clemson player disappointed this year and that was particularly frustrating because he was a top 3 player for me coming into the year. I think he will fit really well into the Texans defense and I trust this staff to get the most out of him. I also want to add that if Banks didn't break his foot at the combine he would be the pick here even with him missing most of the season.
Hood seems to have dropped throughout the draft process but to me he was the top corner left on the board. I think Hood is a perfect fit for the Chiefs man coverage scheme. I will say Terrell would have been the pick but that 40 time scares me even if he did pull his hamstring while running.
The Dolphins need help at CB and despite the questions about McCoy's health, he is just to valuable for a team building for the future to pass on this late in round one.
He is a raw tackle prospect who will have the chance to sit behind Morgan Moses and continue to develop with OL coach Doug Marrone. I will say I am higher on him then this but I just kind of want this to happen as a fan of the Patriots. If you seen Coach Vrabel working him out at the pro day it shows me that they have interest in him.
Chris Johnson is a player that I was higher on after watching his film but the biggest issue is that he just wasn't tested due to San Diego State not playing a good team this year. I know the Seahawks just re-signed Josh Jobe but I still think they can add to the room.
